B. Thomas Golisano Commits $10 Million to Niagara

The Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M., president of Niagara University, announced today that the institution has received the largest gift in its 152-year history. Joined by Rochester, N.Y., businessman and philanthropist B. Thomas Golisano, Father Levesque said the Paychex founder and chairman, and Buffalo Sabres owner, has committed $10 million to support construction of a new science building...

NU Theatre to Present Readers' Theater Production of Kafka's Metamorphosis

The classic story centers on the chilling transformation of a man who works all the time. He wakes one morning in his family's home to discover that he has transformed into a dung beetle. The production will be performed in front of the inflated sculpture in the art museum at 7 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 23 and continues at 8 p.m. on Fri. Oct. 24 and Sat. Oct. 25. A 2 p.m. matinee will be held on Sun. Oct. 26.
